  1. I'm amazed that the makers of the Harry Potter series had the wisdom and the humility to work so closely with Jo and bow to her very personalised interpretation of Severus. I've seen movies after having read the the book/s and the result is a character so far removed from the author's original conception that they're not recognisable and the movie suffers badly as a result (understatement!). In Severus there is a character so fully rounded and developed that I feel I know him better than any member of my own family (and like him a damn' sight better too!)

  2. I saw his movies after the HP saga he was an extraordinary actorl He's one of those that takes his character to another level specially with Snape. Snape had so much hate during the whole HP books and movies but that plot twist in Deathly Hallows was insane o cried so much in that scene it was the premiere tears and claps in the cinema and he became the true hero.
Rest in Pece Mr Rickman you might be gone but not forgotten

  3. Alan’s voice comforts me so well-it’s so nice. It absolutely pains me to know that this wonderful man-and actor-has passed away. Please rest in peace Alan.

  4. "I have spied for you and lied for you,put myself in mortal danger for you.Everything was supposed to be to keep Lily Potter's son safe. Now you tell me you have been raising him like a pig for slaughter–"
"But this is touching,Severus"said Dumbledore seriously"Have you grown to care for the boy at all?"
"For him?" shouted Snape "Expecto Patronum!"
From the tip of his wand burst a silver doe.She landed on the office floor, bounced once across the office, and soared out the window.
Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.
    "After all this time?"
    "Always."

  5. Personality is something that shows through details that can't be controlled by any script though – pretty sure Alan's personality contributed to Professor Snape's charms, the ones that showed only on screen and not in the books, at least through expressions movements and his voice <3
