  1. Before seeing the movie I would have sworn a 7.8/10 was a low score but now that I just saw it I actually feel it too high. Probably a 6 or 7 for me. And I'm a big Tarantino fan. Just disappointed.

  2. I just realised that these people reviewing would know an incredibly scary amount less about films and storytelling than Tarantino, so they should make their review and then just immediately throw it directly in the trash

  3. This movie was incredible having just seen it. The acting and directing was near perfect. Leo and Brad killed it, but theres just something about the plot that doesnt all come together that has me so confused

  4. Just saw it. I'll be honest. I'm a very big Tarantino fan and I'll say this was not his best but it was a very fun and chaotic movie. In case you see it and are confused, it's about the Manson family murders. Trust me, tarantino delivers on his well known action. 8.8/10

  5. It's funny how most people haven't even seen the movie but already give it a 10/10,like it was with red dead redemption 2, which wasn't 10/10 at all..

  6. I would watch this film again but in my home on my "70 inch 4k hdr tv and 7.1 surround sound. I give it a 8 because it feels different than everything out now. Bard Pitt and Leonardo Dicaprio have tremendous chemistry.

  7. Decaprio has an amazing filmography ok Critters 3 wasnt but he was just a kid at the time … anything with him in is for sure a great movie,i dont believe he will ever fall from grace like all the other big movie stars have in the past instead he will just retire

It’s a lot of fun, but, “Once Upon a Time…” for this film implies it’s both a throwback AND a fairytale. First half is ‘better’, largely because it has less narration and shows more than it tells. The characters and scenes are fun and cool rich to look at and listen to, but those who know the history of the few factual events will realize it’s self-indulgent fantasy and wish fulfillment (similar to ending of Tarantino’s own Inglorious Bastards). Still, fans of Hollywood and its history, vintage landmarks, and the references will get a big kick out it.

8.5/10 from me – some random dude you found here in the Comments. You be your own judge, though. Narration is what annoyed me the most, especially in the 2nd half given it’s a fairly long movie.

  9. While every filmmaking aspect of this thing is stellar, the lack of driving force in the plot and runtime made this film a bit boring to me (especially towards the end of act 2). One of my favorite films of all time is 2049, so I don't care about films being slow. I still care about not being able to invest myself in the story/characters though. 7.8 out of 10 is a great score

  10. “It didnt deliver anything emotional and why do we have to see every street of Hollywood”
    1. It wasn’t suppose to be emotional
    2. It talks about Hollywood, actors, and Sharon Tate life before she was murdered 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

  11. Literally every negative the reviewer listed was honestly a positive in my book. Yes, Sharon Tate is an idea. Exactly. Yes, they show every street they drive down. It's perfect, moody and beautiful. Yes, the characters aren't perfectly developed and deep. So much fun room for interpretation and experimentation! Awesome film.

  12. 8/10

Cinematography is on point and setting is very believable, typical QT dialogue is lacking and ya never really love the characters like some of his other work. Ending is the best part. Solid movie

  13. This was an amazing I was smiling the whole way through. The scene with Bruce Lee was great! Brad Pitt was a badass! And once they got to the ranch it got 10x better. And set up for an amazing ending and I love how Tarantino Did his own view!
